The four March sisters Jo, Meg, Amy, and Beth are loving sisters whose father is away fighting war. Jo, the eldest, is a tomboy, her full name is Josephine but she prefers to be called Jo. These sisters are thankful for a home and a delightful Christmas. But it never stops them from helping the unfortunate. These sisters encounter serious problems with the support of a loving family and friends, they go through problems. This book is still famous today even though it was written in 1868.
