It's just in time for the holiday season, and Greg is nervous about it. This is the season where you have to be good to get presents and the pressure is too much to bear. When Greg sees a school-wide scam, he decides to earn a little money by selling the same product at a lesser price. So as a promotion, Rowley and Greg make posters and hang them at school. As they hang them, it starts to rain and their posters leak on the wall. Later Greg is punished because someone tattled on him. Greg serves his punishment, but when he arrives home, there is a note that the police came! The same day, the whole town gets snowed-in. Greg begins to wonder if his vandalism punishment could be as bad as spending the winter holidays stuck inside with his family!
